Yea, everything I have read says over 2" is asking for faster parts failure over time. I'm about to crank my 97' up about 1.5" to keep the angles minimum & get a little more height. The rest I'll make up with a 33" tire & call it good. I could go alot higher with the stock OBS keys but I'd rather not chance it.

I run the 5100s they ride pretty good.. Edlebrock had some shocks that rode great for like 75 bucks for all 4 but I think they are out of stock now.. Check their internet clearance site

I have them as a dual setup but my leveling keys are cranked pretty far.. They feel a lot better than stock or any others i have tried. I would just get a set and never turn back. Mount shaft down and dont install the ugly boots that tear too easily.

You can do it either way but with the shaft down they look a lot better and i think it helps from dirt sitting against the seal. I 'm not a fan of the rubber covers because they look tacky and my wires rip them off when i mud.

gotcha. but you cant mount the front ones backwards, unless im missing something.
