When you lift the truck up 2-1/2 inchs should you buy longer shocks? If so how do you know which one's to order or which one's should I buy? 2003 Z71 GMC. Any info would be greatly appreciated thank you.

well you will have to check with the manufacturer on which shocks will be longer. most people dont change out shocks unless they go to a larger lift.

go to pro comps website and they have a listing of what you need according to the lift on your truck. i bought some es9000's for a 3inch lift and they perform well.
