My truck had some pretty worn out Toyo's on it when I got it. I really wanted a set of SST's but glad I didn't. I would of gotten stuck even more.

I have a matching spare that I rotate in which is probably why I feel like I've gotten decent life out of them

It would be so easy they have an equally awesome supercharged V8 that would bolt right in any pickup!

But you don't have the cool red line on the steering wheel that helps remind you where the tires are pointed.

The Raptor is a badass truck, but it sets the bar pretty low. 14" travel f/r, 400hp

The best part of the Raptor is the factory appearance package, the electronic goodies and the warranty. For the most part, the Raptor isn't very special; you can easily build a vehicle that outperforms it. But you cant build a vehicle that outperforms with a warranty, 360° cameras, OEM fenders or electronic shocks

If none of that matters to you, you have a welder and some time, and you DGAF about electronics: you can outperform a Raptor for like $10k

What are you talking about? It's so easy to get electronic shocks. All you have to do is touch and positive and ground wire together and voila you get electronic shocks.

I agree completely.

I would say I am already close to the travel numbers with basically a mid travel kit. Long travel kit should net 18" travel. And I think I am close to, if not beyond 400 crank hp.

One day I will have a real prerunner. Full cage, back half, links, 20"+ of travel, and still keep HVAC, stereo and the good ****.
