How much do larger tires realistically affect performance
I did a quick search without much luck. Lately I've been quite frustrated with babying my truck through the lovely streets of Oklahoma. Being that I can't own a stock truck I've been thinking of running the 7" pro-comp with some 305/70/16s.
With that said, how much should I expect the tires to hurt my times? Right now I'm running a 30" tall tire so it would be a 10% jump, but more importantly would be the weight difference.
If anything has anything to offer I would appreciate it.

it does make a big difference... you also have to think about your truck being taller more windresistance and such. If you were to do anything i would say put it back around stock height and run a 31"-32" inch tire and and some more gear and it should be close to the same
