I've got an 01 extended cab short bed 2wd and i've got 3.42s should i go 3.73 or 4.11? Not sure 3.73 are gonna be enough difference. It has no take off right now any pros and cons or either gears from experience?

Huh? Need a little more info. Are you running stock tire size or are you lifted with bigger tires?. Do you want it to just have more low end grunt, or race it, or to tow with?

tire should be around a 29" tall, If you didnt want to go to 4.10s they make 3.90s.

i want it to be a good running daily and be able to play with it a little. It wont spin a tire right now and it has good high range power just not the low.
I'm just afraid that doing all the work and going to 3.73 won't be a very noticable difference

4.10's with the choices you have listed. You can always keep what you have & go FI.
