I'm not a big fan of forums, but i just had to post to this. Mwalls54 knows what he is talking about!! I R&D suspensions for a living and we have had a couple of FJ through here. There is a body mount at the back of the front wheel wells that you WILL hit if you go with a lot of backspacing, too wide a wheel, and/or too tall a tire. The rest of the wheel wells are fine.
Also if you plan on wheeling this FJ a lot, you really might want to look at smaller wheels that will give you more side wall, for more tire flex. Just an opinion.

well I dont know the new FJ but I really dont see a 10 or 12wide being a prob if you keep the width down to 12.50 maybe Im wrong though
