Dude that looks killer!

how do you like the tires so far? They are supercool looking.

I want a set for my duramax , but dont want too much noise and they have to handle good to like my toyos do.

That is such a clean truck. Reminds me of a mini version of my old Dmax. How did you paint the vmax emblem?

Well, they look really sweet, and they ride nicely, but they are noisier than I thought. Everyone said they are quiet for a mud tire, to the point of no noise, but not mine. Maybe it's because I've never had a set of mud tires before.

I really need to check them to see if the shop aired them up enough. I'm hoping they are low, and once I get some more air in them it will quiet them down.

I was stuck between these and the Toyo M/T, and I actually think the Toyo is a better looking tire. What made be go with these were the people who had them (including a few who had also ran the Toyos) raving about how quiet and better riding they were than the Toyos, and the fact that they were cheaper than the Toyos by about $200 for the set.

I masked off the entire emblem and then cut out the max part, hit it with a scotchbrite pad, and spray painted it with krylon fusion. I'm not completely happy with it, so I bought some 3x12 strips of black vynil and I am going to do them that way soon.

Looks awesome Tom! It's definitely not the grandpa-mobile any more! Looks really tough, I think that the smoothed/painted factory flares will make it look even better...me likey.

We need to get your V-max, the Reaper, and my little Blazer together for an all-black GM photo shoot I just put a black bowtie on the Reaper, and did the one on the Blazer a while ago, so I think it would be pretty cool to have all of those black Chevy's together.
