Default Question for the guys with a body lift

Ok so I might be getting a 3inch body lift soon of a member and I got a few questions first,

1. I got a trailer hitch thats bolts to the frame and to the underside of the bumper, so when I add the brackets to the bumper to lift it can i still tow or what should I do?

2. I got side steps that I like quite a bit but is there anyway to raise them with the body lift? If not Ill just take them off.

3. Also what do you guys do with your tow hooks?

You might be better off getting a hitch like a class 4/5 that just bolts to the frame. My body lift kit came with the relocaters to lift the bumpers as well and the instructions said not to use the bumper as the brackets weren't as strong. As for the side steps your gonna have to make brackest to lift them to the propper hight. My tow hooks stayed right where they were as thats the strongest point, the only problem is that the lower valance wouldn't fit with the hooks there. I was told to cut the valance to what I needed but it lost its strength and looked like So I just left them off. Gotta still figure that one out for meself still.

i towed with a body lift....kit comes with the proper spacers for the bumper...ill take a pic of mine this weekend!

are they the tube style that bolt the the botom of the body mount? is so...just cut the brackest on the step bars down and move it down 3"....3" for 3" body lift...or 2" for 2" body lift....thats what i have been planning to do for a year now...just haent got time to cut and weld them..

tow hooks..i left and just cut the lower valance....but im thinking ab out rotating the hooks so i can put a valance up that hasn't been cut!
