Default Rough Country Leveling kit on 2005 sierra crew 4x4

I know some of you guys are running the rough country kit and was wondering if you would mind posting pics/fender measurements I'm curious where mine will set after its installed. I ordered the full kit last night and already have a set of 285/70/17 toyo at's on eagle 187 series wheels mounted on the truck. Any input pics are appreciated thanks guys

i have that kit on my 05 crew cab sierra. ill run out and get ya some fender measurements real quick. im on a 285/70/17 fireston m/t. its a decent kit rides a little stiffer then factory(i like it) i had to have a front end alignment done after install. me and a couple buddies threw it on in about 45 mins. we had a lift and air tools, and torison bar key tool. i set 39.25 all the way around.

I have a 2005 Sierra Z-71, with the RC full leveling kit w/shocks, my fronts are at 38 1/2" and the rears 39 1/2", I am on BFG all terrains 285/70/17. I have plenty of thread remaining on the bolts for the RC keys. However I have noticed the ride is a little too firm for me, front and rear, I will be ordering different shocks. I don't have any current pics since the install. You will need a alignment.

thanks guys, deff plan on getting the truck aligned afterwards. prob give it a week or so to let it settle. i just measure mine and with the 285 toyo at's and my t-bars cranked a little im at 37 front and 38 back so it should raise it up a bit. i dont mind a little stiff ride so long as its not lumber wagon stiff. so with yours settin level do you have any issues with the back end looking squatted with a load in the bed? i thought about gettin a set of 5" blocks for the back and selling the 3" that come with the kit to my dad. dont really want the truck to look squatted if im hauling something.

whitedakota do you have any side photos of yours and are you on stock wheels? any problems with rubbing? i bought my wheels and tires off craigslist from a dude who didnt know what he had...eagle alloy 187 series polished wheels with the 285 toyo at's 60-70% tread for $250! Im not sure of the offset but they do stick out about 1" and im rubbing a little at full lock left and right and if i tweak it just right backing out of a driveway. hopefully the kit will eliminate that.

I can get you pic tomorrow. If you want to pm me your cell. I don't have a photo bucket account and really don't know how to post pics. I don't think you'd want to put a 5 inch block in there.. I have alot of bolt left to crank the t bars! I don't want to turn the keys up anymore.. It's a noticeable stiffer ride then stock but not bad. It feels like a truck now! It doesn't squat much if any at all with a 450r in the back to give an example. I let level all 4 corners at 39.25, and yeah I'm on stock wheels. You got a steal on yor wheel and tire setup!

ok ill pm you my cell, i wouldnt go up more in the front to compensate for the back i would be happy with the rake. BUT if your puttin a 450r quad in the back at what 350450lbs and your not squatin then i think ill be alright. i just HATE when trucks look overloaded and the back bumper looks as though its gunna drag the ground. and yea i thought the same on the wheel/tire setup lol i drove 1 1/2 away on a friday night after work to get em lol. the wifey wasnt too happy but i was in the market for a new set of rubber anyhow and this was saved me 7-800 $$$ so in the end shes happy. happy wife happy life or so they say lol the pic is kinda crappy for some reason my phone takes cloudy pics

5inch blocks are what alot of 6inch susp lifts come with for th erear. 5inch blocks in the back with keys in the front would look rediculous. i have 4inch blocks in the back of mine(stock blocks removed) and truckin suspension leveling keys in the front. sitting at 40 inches in the front and 41 in the rear with 33inch iroks.been having this setup for 8 years. bought longer shocks from skyjacker. rides firm, not to bad unless you crank the front more than half.
