Default sweet

yea that looks real good ...I like the body lifts but Iam pickin up a Ranch Hand grille gaurd on Saturday and Iam not quite sure how the grille gaurd works on body lifts...hopefully I can be happy with the just the 2" Lift since I only have 285-70-17 AT TOYO...I cant buy everything that comes in the Kit seperatly for that price ...depending on bonus time I may go 6" but they may look like overkill with my new feet...

The leveling kits are a huge waste of money. Get some Ford Keys from a ford dealership and an add a leaf or a bigger block. You can get the keys from the ford dealership for $40 and a block/ubolts for $50, and it would be the exact same thing as the rough country level kit.

Exact same thing, except you get four shocks that are longer and will work better with the lift. I don't think Ford or any parts stores give ya four shocks with the purchase.

I'm not sure why you would need longer shocks in the rear for 1" more of travel, and most don't replace the front shocks. I guess it depends what route you want to go, but tons of people go the Ford Key/3" block route without running taller shocks and are completely happy.

I agree about not really needing shocks. The Ford keys are a waste as well though. Cranking the bolt does the same thing. The keys change the index of the torsion bar. To keep the adj bolt in the stock location. When you crank the bolt after keys are replaced, it is too hard on the front axles, steering, etc. With a harsh ride. Yes people do it. But it's not correct. In the end, money wise or not, just crank the adj nut and add rear blocks.

A friend of mine had a RC kit on his burban, for the money it is a nice kit, not the best and but serves it purpose no doubt...
