I've built a tire swing before. It's easy. You just need a tire, a rope, a tree and a drill.

But seriously. That tailgate is cool and not too difficult to pull off.

Way pricey!!! Cool setup but cost is high. I would just mount it in the bed.

Spare Tire Mount from Go Industries allows you to mount your spare tire on either side of your pickup truck bed. Mount will accept any standard padlock or combination lock to keep your tire secure. Made from heavy-duty 12 guage steel and painted black for excellent durability. The Mount bolt is 15 inches up from the bed of the truck and 5.5 inches out from the edge of the bedrail.

well knock on wood i have never had to use a spare when running anything larger than a stock tire. i do carry tire plugs and a decent air pump in the tool box just incase i do get a bolt or something in it.
