I have a 6" stacked on a 3" body lift. I know some places dont stack lifts because it's a "liability" (4Wheel Parts) but mine runs fine. My question to yall is, what are the limitations of truck lifted like that when offroad. I know you cant cut turns like a BMW or anything, but sometimes I feel like the damn body will break off the mounts or something if I take it offroad and push it a little. Any thoughts???

I have 6" and 3" and have had no problems thus far. Your center of gravity is higher it's gonna feel like that. If you have grade 8 hardware then you fine. I just wouldnt go rock crawling' or jumping it.

When you say Grade 8 hardwarde what do you mean by that? The bolts I have for my body mounts are the ones that came with the PA 3" body lift, and my suspension lift is Fabtech.

Grade 5 and 8 are the strongest grades of hardware you can use. Anything else has a strong possibility of breaking under strain. All the body lifts I know of come with either 5 or 8. Grade 8 useually has an almost gold look to it.

iv seen people break the body mount lift blocks but its not that big of a deal and very rarely happens. other than that like stated above the body roll and higher center of gravity.

So as long as I dont rick crawl, or go baja racing I should be ok. THe occasional mudding/beach cruise is the extent of what I would. My truck is my everyday driver too, so I cant **** it up.
