Default suspension lift opinions

Hey guys,
I would like to hear some of your opinions on suspension lifts. I have narrowed my choices to Superlift or ProComp. I want to go with a 6" lift. I still debating on tires, but leaning towards the SS Iroks

If i had to pick between the two i would say superlift. Procomp is a very involved lift. You have to cut factory things and remove them. That is never nice or is it a good idea. I have a 6" skyjacker and i have put many lifts on trucks and this kit is by far the best and the easiest to install. Have you looked at skyjacker. There lifts also ride the best. Both procomp and superlift both ride bad. Look into it. If your looking for a set of tires and a 3" body lift for that truck i will give you a good deal on them. $750 for the lift and tire. I also have gap guards that i will throw in for $50. The tires are super swamper tsl radial. 36x12.50x16. They have about 6000 miles on them. Pm me if your interested.

There's a new lift from Rough Country that might be worth looking into. It doesn't require any cutting or dropping of the torsion bars. (The diff does drop, torsions are just actuated by levers attached to former shock mount on lower A-arm). Don't know didly/squat about where's it's good or not, but it sure looks like a cool idea.

I have a superlift 6" - 7 1/2" Lift on my truck and have had no real problems. The other kits are a little more easy to install but will not give you as much lift. Also if you plan on keeping the truck for a while dont worie about finding a kit that you can put back to stock, because you will not want to go back.

All depends on how high you want to go and how involved you want to get. I.E. drive shafts, etc. If you really want to get wild then go with a 4 link and air bags. Go as high or low as you want at the flip of a switch.

Thanks for the into guys. I was looked at the SkyJacker, but you have to grind on the center link. In the picture it looks like you would be weakening it a too much. I just can't wait until I get something under it.

I found someone to install the lift. Procomp 6", 34 x 10.5 SS LTB on 16x10 Classic II. Looks like it is going to cost $3900 installed. The labor part is $700. Does this sound right?
