For that short of a distance, you'll be fine on flat ground. I towed a trailer, about 2500lbs, with my TBSS 170 miles. Temps were fine the entire way and I just took it easy to keep it in OD. I also tried towing 5k pounds 2000 miles. That didn't work well at all... Short, flat trips are ok barring you can watch the trans temp and don't try to drive like an *** with a load on the back.

thanks guys, looks like ill be towin the nova then since you guys have pulled some heavy loads with converters for some good distances, worst case scenario shut her down and let her cool off. the only things thatll kill me is all the traffic lights on the way up and how stupid loose the tc is but well see how she goes!
