Sounds like I need to do gears. 3.42s, 31.5" tire with the 4.8 blows.

I went on a 450 mile round trip to Corpus Christi togo fishing. I seem to be getting about 1 mpg less on the highway. I will report back with my overall average at the end of the week.

Part throttle response is awesome, no down shifting on the highway at all. I'm a happy camper.
I love it when a plan comes together.

lil update.
This trucks runs good, but man I want a converter. at 70 on the highway I get around 15-16.
Once the trucks paid off in february this truck will be getting some much needed HP. This poor 5.3 is gutless above 5k.

Depends on how good my tax return and bonuses are in spring haha.
408 would be bad ***, but I won't do a stroker without a Aluminum block. with that kind of cash I can go FI.
Everythings up in the air. i wouldn't mind joining sureshot and sharpshooter in the lifted procharged group haha.

some of my specs are in my sig, but I run 4.88s on a 32" tire, I love it. mpg is not bad, and I plan do procharger my setup in Xmas. Plenty of power still with the 6.0 and a 4l80e slipping, Im getting ready to pull this week. Got a fresh one to go in.
