Default tryin to fit 33s

could somone tell me how much lift i need to fit 33x12.50R16

also how much backspacing on the wheels to look right they are 16x8

they will be on a 99 silverado 2wd all stock

by the way i will be getting a 4x4 in the future but need tires now so i will transfer them over when i trade trucks

would the amount of lift be different for 33x13.50R18 or backspacing if so please give me this info also

im thinkin that they will fit on the back but not in front idk?

thanks in advance

back they will fit but in the front im gonna suggest about 6" of lift so you wont rub...i have a friend with a 6" fabtech (shitty lift) and he has 305/70/r16 on 16x8 and he just barely clears them without trimming...a 4" spindle will allow you to clear 285s...

if you are planning on getting a 4x4 i would just get by with some cheap tires on the 2wd and save your money for the 4wd

4" suspension lift will fit good

3" body lift might do it.

first of all fabtech is not a shitty lift by any means. scondly, i have seen many 2wd late model chevys fit 33's with a 3inch body.

Depends I have a few friends running 33's with no problems. I tried 33's on a 16x8 and cut the bumper, trimmed the inner fenders and they still rubbed their *** off. Of course I had swampers they have BFG M/T, Mud Brutes, or Destination MT, Dueler M/T etc.

Fabtech is NOT shitty, one of the top best, these I say are the best, Fabtech, Rancho, Trailmaster, Rough Country, and Sky Jacker. Didin't Pro Comp get into lift game too?

I had no problem clearing 33s with a 3" body. Now i'm runnin 36s with the t-bars cranked. They rub at lock when you hit a bump.
