Upgraded transfer case?

I have the push button auto 4 with 2wd, 4hi, 4lo just looking for something that is either 4wd or 2wd non of this slipping b.s. when I try to use it and a atlas is totally out of the question!

I got a chuckle out of this. Apparently the Np241 on my Tahoe is not bolted to a 4L60E.
Do your research son before making an a$$ out of yourself. The NP241 comes in a 27 spline and 32 spline version on GM vehicles. What's the spline count on the 4L60/700R4? 27. Guess what else Mr. Know it all...it lines up too! The pattern is the same 6 bolt "Chevy" circular pattern the General always uses.

I have used an NP241c in my solid axle swap, I know it can be done, and its no big deal. I was saying to go from a 80e to a 1/2 ton case you will need to convert the input on the case to match the output on the 80e, wich I am currently about to start for my swap, cause like already said the 1/2 ton case is more than capable of more power than most people will ever make.

Bigger, thicker and more material of all the internal parts, better oiling pump, stronger case. Used in high torque or off-road applications...or for anyone looking to never replace a transfer case again. An example would be comparing the 4L60 to the 4L80.
I will never let a computer decide for me when I should and should not be in 4wd. By paying careful attention to the terrain in front of me, I know ahead of time if I need the extra traction from the front tires. Leave the auto 4x4 stuff for the women.

Yeah I have a 3/4ton with a 241, dont know where the chain or half the case is I guess in the mud somewhere. I rebuilt a 1/2ton case and put my input shaft in for the time being, but prolly gonna build a doubler 203/205 case. 27/32 spline does seem general but some length differences in years and generations.
