Default WANT MORE LIFT question...

Bought a 2009 Silverado with a 6inch suspension lift by Procomp.
I want another 4 inches. What are my options? How extensive would this be?
Could i do a 4 inch body lift? What issues might i encounter with gears/etc.?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Body lift or a whole new sus. lift. All the rest of your ?'s depend on what size tires you run.

I found a that for min lift just get a body lift to go with the suspension, it's cheaper then a whole replacement suspension..MTC

I know that both Cognito and Rize make 10" lifts for newer Chevy's but it depends on how much you want to spend. A 4" body lift is kind of large in my opinion, but I prefer suspension lifts to body lifts all together. With a 10" lift, you could probably run up to a 40" tire, but you would want to run a gear set that is 5.12 (maybe even higher). You will have to lengthen your front drive shaft if you are planning on keeping your 4wd, and you may have to lengthen your rear as well. They can vibrate pretty bad at that extreme of an angle...
