Before I lowered my truck, I was able to fit 285/75-16 BFG AT's on the factory wheels without touching the keys and I had no rubbing. (those tires are basically 33's...32.9" to be exact)

if you only doing the tbars it depends on what wheels you run to, i ran my stock wheels with 285s and all i did was bottom out my tbars and add-a-leaf and they never rubbed. when i put my body lift on i was able to put 16x8 wheels, then bout 1/2 year later i put on ford torsion keys and i have so much wheel gap, i think i could run 315s w/o rubbing. i wouldnt recommend using the ford torsion keys for lift though ive had probs with them and heard of lots of other ppl having them to

well me personally... when i first body lifted my truck i just had the torsion bar bolts turned up a couple threads and my 4wd worked fine, then i heard bout the ford keys and put them on, when i had my truck in 4wd wit the new keys and cut my wheels hard to one side i would hear like a grinding noise coming from right near the front axles (i thought it was just an alignment but then i got it aligned and the problem persisted), i took the keys back off and put my stocks on and got it aligned again and it never happened since then, basically all the new keys do is allow you to crank your bars up more cause the index on the ford keys is higher than on the chevy, i was told that its to extreme of an angle though when you crank them up all the way, plus the ride was uncomfortable as hell

this is my truck with 285s, 3" body lift, add-a-leaf and tbars cranked a little, as you can see i have PLENTY of wheel gap to run a bigger tire, i would take the body lift ride over the tbar crank any day

it was actually pretty easy, we had the bed done in like an hour tops, obviously just take all the bolts out and put each block in and put the ext bolts back in and that was it, the cab wasnt that bad either its when you started putting all the extenders in that kinda got to be a pain, steering column, rad support, linkage, so no i wouldnt so it was hard at all, just time consuming, i am not very mechanically inclined and neither is my cousin who helped me and we did it in like 7 hours, LOTS of b/sin goin on to

So what im understanding is that the ford keys dont haeve the right gemomatry for the GM suspension. How do the ford keys compare to the Ready Lift keys? Also would it be easier to install the body lift, with a frame lift handy? Also is there gonna be a defference in ride with keys comparied to just cranking the screws?
