wheel question...

What is the width of the wheel in question? And always go with hub centric wheels if you can. It'll make for a more secure mounting point on the wheel's hub and not require the use of hub rings.

I believe 17x7 with 5.2" of backspacing. I usually deal in backspacing measurements because it's something easy that I grew up with so if you want the offset of stock rims just wait till tomorrow and I'll look up the specs at work. I work for Discount Tire here in MN and have been in the tire and wheel business for 5 years now. It's become a sickness but at least I'm good at it after so long!

I didn't believe it when I read it at first but after doing the quick math is seems right...Stock 17x7 GM rims have +43.18mm of positive offset. I thought it was around +35mm but who cares really I hate using offset. Backspacing was drilled into my head when I was young by both my grandfathers and using offset, to me at least, is like trading in my big truck for a souped up Civic. Plus, my tape measure measures in inches, not millimeters so quite frankly, **** offset. haha
