Default Widest wheels (with offset) and biggest tires on a stock suspension 03 Suburban?

Hey everyone, just picked up a 2003 Suburban LS and I was wondering what the widest wheel I could run on stock suspension? I want to go with either a 16 or 17 inch wheel with a large tire (something along the lines of say a 295/65/16 or 17). Just throwing that tire size out there as an example. Also, how wide of a tire would I need to run a 285-295-305 sized tire and is it even possible on stock suspension? Sorry for all fo the questions and any information/recommendations/pictures of setups would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Adam

I run 305/50/20 and that seems to be the limit on width on stock suspension. I had some slight rubbing front and rear on the plastic well liner but nothing too serious. Front was a little more depending on what tire make u run (some have higher more square shoulders) and can tend to rub hard on sharp turns unless u do some cutting. I was looking into a 2/4 drop and not sure what that'll mean for tire width...I imagine it'll result in slightly narrower 295 to fit...R/

I'm running 295/70R17 Cooper STT's and they fit great. Little bit of adjustment on your torsion bars and your golden.

I had 305 50 20's on my truck. also ran them with the 2-4 drop. They are some wide suckers look cool as hell but add a ton of play to the steering. slightly rubbed with and without the drop but only when cranking the wheels all the way, not enough to bother me though.
