No I have not heard of these being used. I'll have to ask Chuck about this. Also the guy who is making these for us would probably have some input. He deals with alot of top feul stuff and really knows his metals.

No the sonnax servos are a great combo. We have received a lot of good feedback with these and have seen next to no issues with them. Mostly installer issues so you know. We are looking to change our level 5 units so that they come with the billet shafts in them as a standard not as an upgrade. The shafts are much stronger and will not twist and snap like the OEM ones do. With added power that you "truck guy's in general" are making we would like to push this trans a little more. With the added rwhp/rwtq along with the weight of some of your vehicles the factory parts are limiting our options. We feel that it can be done with a proper rebuilt and the stronger shafts. A lot of guy's do not want to go with the 4l80e, so we are trying to give you another option. I hope I answered you question here. Vince

At this point we do have the billet output shafts for the units ready to go. It will be another month or so for the input shafts. If anyone needs ordering info please contact Chuck at 1-630-350-7776.
I have been thinking about getting a radix, or turbo for my truck. (06 CCSB K1500 Vortec Max with 4L70E M70) I was planning on going with one of your level 5 4L65e trannies. I am going to go the route gonzo 6.0 is gonna go, put in the tranny before the radix or turbo. Will one of your 4L65E trannies not work with my truck due to the extra input speed sensor on the 4L70E? If so like you were saying in the thread I would just send im my 4L70E and you will send me a built one? I was reading on your site the core deposit for a 4L70e is $700 correct? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get some info before I buy a trans. Thanks for your help,
Sam

We currently have all the parts to build you the correct unit for your TBSS. The upgraded billet output shafts are ready and the billet input shafts should be arriving soon. As far as making you a level 5 we are ready. Give Chuck a call whenever you are ready. Vince
