Chains/cables on TBSS
I am going out of town in the next 2 weeks through some nice elevation and I know chains can be required. I consulted the user manual and it says not to run them and I'm guessing it is due to clearence issues. Is there anything I can have with me incase I get pulled over to avoid a ticket and that could actually be used on the TBSS?
Someone mentioned a hub design that is a quick release but I don't know what they are called nor where to look. Any info would be great.

Yes, in certain areas (I only know of the mountains of Colorado, but I'm sure there other high altitude regions with the requirement) you need to have either snow chains or severe snow rated tires to legally drive on the road. The severe weather tires have a snowflake on the sidewall and are the only exemption from the requirement for a traction-enhancing device like snow chains.

Yes its pretty much a law in a lot of high elevation areas. I've seen them all over the U.S. due to the possibility of the weather changing quickly, if the weather gets too out of hand then youll be trapped some where cuz theyll shut down the roads.
