Default Few TBSS Questions

First off is anyone running the following cam from Speedinc? I like the specs on it, just looking for a mild street cam to use with stock converter. 214/220 .559/.564 111.5 LSA Also what does it take to max the injectors on a LS2? Only looking at Cam, LT's and exhaust and CAI.

Why wouldn't you want to put a stall in the truck? If you want to keep it streetable just go with something smaller like a 2800 stall.

Its not mine, its my buddies shop truck. He wants to keep the stock converter, he is yanking the trans and building it and we are tossing around some different setups for exellent streetability, fairly mild but healthy.

If it was mine and I was using it as a daily I would want the stock converter as well. I know my truck gets annoying to me driving in the city.

Pi 2800-3000

However like mentioned this is not my TBSS and its keeping the stock stall. My truck runs a hell of a lot better compared to running the stock stall but thats not the point.

The question is not concerning the converter, the guy that owns it has a tranny shop and also built my tranny. He knows what he wants to do tranny wise and the stock converter is part of it. More so I am just trying to get a idea of what is being used in the TBSS cam wise and how people like there setup. Looking for something that is a good over all improvement without giving up any drivablility. Originally the comp 212/218 came to mind being as though it is a solid performing cam, while on the small side for a LS2 it has proven to post good gains across the board hp and tq wise. I stumbled onto the cam listed above at Speedinc and it looked like it would be a nice cam, should have a bit more lowend then the comp 212/218 and yet should pull well up top. Just thinking out loud I quess.

the zo6 cam works really good in the trucks when it's n/a.just tune the truck after the cam and CAI and it will be fun the drive.

Stock LS2 cam is basically the same as the 01 Z06 cam. 02 Z06 has a little bit more lift but not enough to make it worth while IMO.

I would say that cam would make some good numbers but wouldn't be as fun to drive around with a 111 lsa and a stock converter. Because they are pretty much dogs out of the hole. at least mine is. it usually takes heads/large cam/intake to max out injectors. Even though he wants to keep a stock converter i would suggest a stock in-line 6 converter. It will stall a little higher than the stock which will help driveablility with the cam. But will have the same mannerism of the stocker.
