Default I got my Trailblazer SS.

Well, I just got a 2006 Trailblazer SS at 0% .... I also got the truck at $150 under invoice.

This thing is pretty sweet all around. Doing 0-30mph sucks *** at it's a pig to get out of the hole. Once you get going it pulls pretty good for being a heavy as hell. I am averaging some **** 13mpg... but I have been pretty hard on it.

I also had it weighed at my friends work. With a full tank of gas it hit exactly 4900lbs.

Quick questions... can I do a nice torque converter with the AWD TBSS? Also, at the top of 1st gear the truck shifts at like 5500rpm... it doesn't go anywhere near redline.

Also... my left side headlight is aimed wrong and my fog lights bounce...

Ours shifts at about 6400 1-2 and 6200 2-3 pulls like a **** once it gets going. First TBSS tuned by Nelson Performance and still has more to give...Only did air fuel and timing from what I understand, doesn't fall on it's face ater the shifts anymore either...Scares the **** outa passengers...Hahaha...LOL

Well, I live in MN so getting the vehicle tuned isn't something that is easy. I also can't take out my ECU and send it off.

I was looking on Speed, Incs website for peformance parts. The only thing I saw (besides heads, cam, etc) is the Stainless Works LT's and Stainless Works Cat-back. I plan on doing an intake and cat-back right away.. however, I can't find a damn intake for it! Do they just have the K&N drop in?

I was figuring the LS2 aftermarket would be huge for this truck.

All I want is mid 12's... lol.

Next question... can we put a nice stall (3600ish) in these AWD vehicles or would it tear the tranny apart? (This is my first AWD vehicle so I am retarded on this topic)

Theres a guy who put a 3600 on his 2WD with a CAI and went mid 12s.. The VMS Tune does change the shift points big time.. Congrats on the truck. I just got mine too. Good luck with it. I average about 10mpg in my 2wd.

There is no prob with upgrading the converter like you want... that'll certainly help your 0-30 woes. Check out the other TBSS guys on here, some have some serious mods done already. In other words, 12s won't be hard at all.

I see you're from B'ville... I grew up in Eagan and grad from BHS

Hell yea. What year did you graduate from BHS? I graduated in 2000 and my sister graduated in 1997. I am actually over in Cottage Grove, MN now.
