TBSS air intake mods & E85

I'm logging 98 - 99 kpa at WOT, which indicates virtually no restriction. It's still maxing out the duty cycle, even with the bigger injectors. And, I haven't even begun to touch the VE or MAF tables in the tune. Not to mention the heavy box full of stainless steel mandrel bends and v-band clamps that I was hauling in the back for delivery to my customer. Stay tuned for even better times as I work the bugs out.

The Syclone is still progressing. I did have some issues toward the end of last year with one supplier who was not able to deliver on time, which caused me to lose my place in line with my fabricator. However, everything I need is finally here. I just talked to him yesterday, and he's going to be able to get me back in line real soon.

Did you rescale the Injector Flow Rate for the new injectors? E85 requires about 27-30% more fuel compared to pure gas. You also need to retune for the CAI. I made my own CAI and the LTFT's went instant +12-15% across the board until I retuned it. My best ET is in my sig with a very mild tune and before the CAI. I need to hit the track again to see how much it picked up.
Yes, I rescaled the IFR's, and related offset tables, using GM's tables from the flex fuel truck that I got the injectors from. Next, I will be recalibrating the VE's and then the MAF scaling, using HP Tuners. Once I get that correct, I'll get back out to the track and try a few more simple tweaks. Even though we SMOKED all the other TBSS's last time at PBIR (even the trucks with full bolt-ons and massive weight reduction), there is still a LOT more left in this RPS truck. We have plenty of high dollar race cars and trucks around our shop. However, for this build, I'm putting brains over bucks, to develop a simple recipe to put any stock TBSS deep into the 12's, for minimal cash or labor, while reducing emissions and maintaining stock driveability / reliability. Stay tuned for the next go around!

Update: new 57# injectors are in, throttle body is ported, cats replaced with Magnaflow resonators, tune has been touched up and drag radials are mounted.
We're tied up with other obligations this weekend, but next week, I'll install the SLP under drive pulley, e-fans, trans cooler and Circle-D converter.
New times will be posted soon
