TBSS Seat Belt Chime - Any way to shut it up?
This thing just beeps constantly and it drives me nuts. Evetry time you open a door, keys in ignition while you get gas, etc. If there was a delay or something I would be OK, but it goes off immediately, and constantly. When my girfriend gets in, it beeps for about 30 seconds starting as soon as he *** hits the seat.
I read in the owners manual that you can control the volume on the radio, so I try to turn it down, and the only option is to turn it up. I think it runs in the radio off a feed from the Body Control Module. I am hoping that a little wire snip and it will be gone. Anyone messed with this yet? It is my only complaint about the truck so far.

If it is similar to the Silverado SS, there is a wire that can be removed from underneath. Just pulled out of the connector and covered with elec tape. Got to the Silv SS website how-to section and try it.
