Default TBSS's with a Yank TC

How many of yall are running Yank Converter's? What was your track time directly after the install without a tune?
After my 3600 went in, I lost about 76 lb/ft of torque and only picked up a .1 in the 1/4. I've ran 3 Yanks before in my TA and never had a problem, but this one just sucks.. It pulls real hard from 3500-400 but after that it just falls on its face..
My shifts seem a little sloppy too.

All the SSR members are using the TT3000 and SC3000 with great results. It is the same drivetrain with similar weight.

Possibly some tuning problems?? I know 02white6.0 went from a stock verter to a PI36, or 3800 and slowed down? Maybe PM him and discuss the problems he was having.

Hmm, maybe much for these heavy beasts.. The guys at Yank told me its what they've been reccomending.. The cam I got is designed to work with the high stall, so hopefully it will make up the difference later down the road..

Just received a YANK TT2600 stall for my TBSS. I still need to tow, so that's the highest Yank reccomended going with. I *may* get it installed this weekend. Hope it helps with these horrendous 2.1xx 60 foots. I'm bone stock at the moment. Waiting for EFIlive V2 to come out, then we'll do some tuning and on goes the Whipple

Without a tune!!! I wouldn't even try to many tq man. issues. I have a SS3600 also no problems at all. Shift hard don't fall on it face between shifts either.

Yep TM and Stabilitrac holding you back, I just got ours tuned yesterday and we were having some issues w/ TM and Stabilitrac...I'm the first TBSS to be tuned by Nelson Performance and w/ just a street tune, it doesn't fall on it's face like it used to right after the shift, just launches forward like it's supposed to. I don't think he even messed w/ the trans tables that much or even at all just tuned for air fuel and timing but it made a hell of a difference...Zed
