Default Tires?

Getting ready to replace my tires what brand and size should I go with? The truck is setting 29 inches all the way around so it has been lowered.I was thinking the 420s thats what I run on my truck.

I have 275/45/20 Hankook Ventus ST RH06. These are reasonably priced directional tire, and I just bought 2 @ $126 per. I also invested in stainless valves. If you need the site that I bought them from pm me. They were shipped to the house within a couple of days. Whereas purchasing from NTB or Discount Tire, you would be waiting about 3-5 days for them to get in.

I've read some good stuff about the Yokohama Parada Spec X tires. They have great traction and performance at a fair price. You could run the 275x40x20 or 275x45x20 depending how tall you want them. I actually bought a set of 295x45x20s recently, but am waiting to buy some wider rear wheels to install them on.

Was the 295s to wide for your rim?

I am just not a big fan of the tread pattern.

Yes, they were way too wide for the stock rim. I have 275s on there right now and thought the 295s would work, but the Yokos are wider than other brands.
