January's 09 TOTM: Midnightrider

PAST
Her name is Molly. My mom actually helped me pick that name. She is my first black truck. I bought her brand new on September 29, 2004. She came as a LS package with everything but the center console and leather. I was in love with her from the start.
Her first mod was a set of 22" Helo Skids. Shortly after that I got her Pacesetter Longtubes and true dual flowmasters.
At this point I realized i wanted a Blacked out truck but not murdered. I also wanted it to look original and be fast as hell. My thoughts then focused towards the 4.8 liter. That was short lived and I bought a 6.0 LQ4 out of a wrecked H2 that had 1500 miles on it. My brother and I tackled this swap with out any knowledge of the LS based setup.
The power difference became a never ending addiction. I became a junkie and all i wanted was more, more, more. At about the same time the 6.0 went in I bought a rollpan that resembled a RST and a SS front bumper and matching spoiler to set off the look.
About a week later i bought a Beltech 2/4 Nitro Drop and a new set of Helo 835 and some new rubber.
About this time my buddies suggested I check out some Truck forums for more ideas. So i joined SilveradoSS.com Performancetrucks.net and LS1truck.com. I then started learning about Go fast stuffand the LS based motor. I love the friends I have made threw my neverending endevor to be fast.
I took a huge leap and bought a MP-112 Radix. It was a couch ornament for a while til i met Danny(sprayed99). He took me under his wing and we installed the Blower. We also did a True Trac, Fully built 4L65e, and a cam swap. He has sense become one of my best friends.
I monitor the engine with a Autometer C2 wideband and dual areoforce guages. The boost and FP are linked to the top aeroforce guage
PRESENT
Now She has a cowl hood thats painted with a metallic blue stripe up the center and a SS painted front grill. I also Installed true dual Magnaflow racing series mufflers. Steve (Mr. P) built my custom E-fans as well.
I Blacked out tail lights and front signal corners. I was rear ended by a teenager and that got me my shaved rearend.
The Sound is all Diamond Audio D6 component and D6 10" subs powered buy 1500watts. Controlled by a Kenwood touch screen head unit. A clifford 2-way alarm was installed to protect her.
Here is the Current look. With her 3rd set of wheels.
At the track my best times are 13.3 @106 with a 2.5 60' on the 22s. Ive had her there on slicks but that was when I had the 3.42 gears

FUTURE
This spring we are doing some paint work on the blower and I'm getting a new interior by
Katzkin. This truck is my pride and joy. Most everything done to it Danny and I did. Im not into dropping it off at the shop for installs. Tank you for this opportunity to be TOTM. Thanks to those who have been there for me as well. Stay tuned this year for a whole lot more mods.
