First off i would like to thank everyone for the nomination. If it wasn't for you and this site, my truck wouldn't be anywheres near what it is today.
In the begining it all started out in the summer of 2003. I graduated high school in May and was off to Navy boot camp in June. I knew I would need reliable transportation so I bit the bullet on a brand new '03 Silverado RCSB that had 6 miles on the od.
I really didn't know anything about these style enginies (use to working on old school sbcs) so I started out moding the truck with simple stuff. ie hypertech, flowmaster and cold air intake. It would run high 14's all day long with these mods. I was satisfied but had the need for more.
So in January '05, I came across this great forum. I did lots of reading up on many different combos and I couldn't believe the power potential and reliability of these engines. It took me a while to get it done but after much research, I came up with a proven combination that works for me.
