This is a pretty old debate thats been argued forever, but I thought it would be fun over here. The very first part of the song starts at 18 seconds, and the WRITTEN lyrics say "season ticket on a one way ride". BUT tons of people really believe and hear "see's a ni**er on a one way ride". So which one do you hear? close your eyes and listen if you have to, but I think it's pretty obvious

Ive never heard of this debate, and as I was reading "season ticket" on the screen, I still heard "see a nagger on one way ride"

 

I heard "season ticket", slurred just like other words in the song. Basically, you hear what you want to hear. It's almost like all of these nut jobs that think every gang symbol in rap videos are Illuminati, or that every national disaster is a conspiracy.

 

It's his voice tbh... Russ Martin spent 30 minutes playing that 5 second clip trying to decide on what he said/ meant it may or may not have been more obvious which they truly meant in concert

 

Its just like the Manfred Mann's Earth Band song blinded by the light.. I hear tons of people say wrapped up like a dousch, when it is really revved up like a deuce.. It does sound like n^&*er but it is season ticket.. Hahah I never heard this debate before though..

IN MY OPINION
I personally dont see the entertainment in debating it. Ever think that we just may have multiple ethnicities that share our passion for trucks on this site who may see this as innappropriate ?

IDK, not trying to jack/ start a fight or to get anyone off on a rant about the 1st addm. But.....

 

We're all adults here and no one is saying anything racist or derogatory...

Anyways, I checked it out, and after the original singer died, they changed the lyrics to season ticket. It definitely says #2, and if you listen to the next line, it says "ask HIM nothing, let me be"
