Talking 158mph at 7360 rpms all motor.

Well after sitting around BSing with an old friend and his dad we decided to take the truck out and see what i top out at. The roads were clear and almost no other cars on the highway so i said screw it. BTW, this all came about because someone was saying there is NO WAY a truck can do 150mph. So i said screw it and we were off. We hooked up the HPTuners and made a couple runs. First run we hit just over 130 and had to let off because i spoted a car. Next run at about 147-148 i got some knock and let out. Third run i gave it all i had and just kept my foot in it. At about 148 again i started getting some knock, but kept going. At 152 the SES light started flashing. And finnaly at 158 it was vibrating some and I was running 7360rpms with the SES light still flashing. I'll try and get a screen shot posted up as soon as my laptop gets fixxed.

After the run i let off and coasted to a gas station where it died. I guess it ran out of fuel. After restarting it a couple times it cranked up and ran just fine again. I just wish the dang engine would die so i can get the 6.0 to build.

On a funny note, my front air damn that was painted to match my truck is now missing half the paint for some reason.

Oh, and the SES light is for the knock sensor low voltage or something. I'll have to look into that.

I put $15 in because the gas light was on before the runs, by the time we were done and i got home it was on again.

Also, when i turned onto my street there was a cop car sitting in front of my house. Kinda shook me up a little, but he was there for the neighbors. LOL

150MPH with a passenger is just plain stupid....you are taking not only your life, but your passengers life into your hands.....

I really do not want someone to get hurt trying to out do each other.....Please save the high speed driving for the track.

Yeah, and come back and tell us what it shows after you calibrate it for the gear change. I am thinking it had 3.42's stock and now with the 4.10's in your sig I can see where it would show that kind of mph. I am calling BS unless you have more than what is in your sig.
