So i said screw it and we were off. We hooked up the HPTuners and made a couple runs. First run we hit just over 130 and had to let off because i spoted a car. Next run at about 147-148 i got some knock and let out. Third run i gave it all i had and just kept my foot in it. At about 148 again i started getting some knock, but kept going. At 152 the SES light started flashing. And finnaly at 158 it was vibrating some and I was running 7360rpms with the SES light still flashing. I'll try and get a screen shot posted up as soon as my laptop gets fixxed.

After the run i let off and coasted to a gas station where it died. I guess it ran out of fuel. After restarting it a couple times it cranked up and ran just fine again. I just wish the dang engine would die so i can get the 6.0 to build.

On a funny note, my front air damn that was painted to match my truck is now missing half the paint for some reason.

Oh, and the SES light is for the knock sensor low voltage or something. I'll have to look into that.

I almost forgot

Meh 150 isn't all that fast, I know a couple dak guys that have run way past that point.

But why in the world were you turnin 7300? Does OD not work or what? Partial b/s callout on this one. And driving through engine knock is just dumb.

I feel you on that. I keep upping the nitrous but the lil 4.8 just wont die.

On a side note. I blew out the drive line in my race car when I was racing a two door Mercedes SLCK on the freeway. I was some were around 150-160 when it let go. Split it in three parts. When I picked up the shrapnel the drive line was S shaped. Bent my drive shaft safety loop 90* off. That ended any need I ever had for top speed.
