It's a scam.
I look through Craigslist all the time. And every single vehicle listing I see that looks like a great deal I see the same patterns.
It's always a low number ($2900, $4900, etc)
The description always looks like they copied & pasted it from a manufacturer or dealer site.
The pictures are sometimes a dead give away. Gee palm tree's in the background...oh wait we live in WI.
Lately I've been noticing that the pictures the scammers are stealing all have that little camera icon in the bottom right of the pictures which I believe comes from Webshots website.
The other thing I like to do which usually always works. Copy and paste the title (2005 Chevrolet Duramax 2500hd LT 4x4 - $4900 ) into Google. You'll get about a dozen other hits that show that exact vehicle in many other cities and states.
Which I see that this listing also showed up in the San Fransico Bay listing but got flagged already.

Definately a scam, this is his email reply:
Hi,
I am selling this truck because my unit has been sent back to Afghanistan and don't want it get old in my backyard. The price is low because I need to sell it in one week. It has no damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn't been involved in any accident.I do have the title , clear, under my name.The truck has 59,448 miles, year 2005.
