I think my last post just answered that nonnie! I was typing when that one came thru. Its a nv3500 out of a 96+ s10 4x4. The tires are stockfish...I probably couldn't fit anything bigger than a 31x10.50 15

And I've got a lot of grief on the fueling system. Yes it is a Quadrajet...but this is NOT a race vehicle and for mileage, they have smaller Primaries and larger secondaries. So if the foot will stay out of the gas, THAT will help. And it was free and I can collect spare change off the sidewalk and buy a rebuild kit for it!!! Heh!

Oh yeah. My budget is still very limited. The most expensive thing I've bought has been a shift tower for the NV3500. $60....I've literally bought everything else for less than $55 a piece. Or made money by selling unneeded items. Bought a 97 blazer for 400. Sold parts for about 600 then scrapped it for 300ish. Bought a transmission for $50, transfer case for $40, 4bbl Vortec intake for $50, Quadrajet for $10, flywheel and clutch for $20, and an entire block just so I could get a steel oil pan, for $40. looks like the most I'll spend is to have drive shafts cut to fit.
