I was killing some time and building a truck on chevy's website and cam across an interesting piece of standard equipment.....It lists the governor as 70mph no matter what cab/drive/engine combination. Just wondering if anybody else has seen this. If this is true, then hopefully the aftermarket will be stepping in quickly with a resolution to this problem.
I can understand that being an option for work trucks, but on every truck that's ridiculous. Hell, there are speed limits in parts of Texas that are higher than the governor will let the truck go.

When looking online it says that it is standard, click on the link and scroll down to the powertrain section
