Well I got my truck back from the trans shop yesterday around 4PM and this morning around 1045 I was involved in a accident. I am okay and the fella that hit me is okay as well. If I was in a car I would of been seriously injured. I do think that they will total out the truck based on what its worth and how much its going to cost to fix it completely. I do plan on buying it back if it does get totaled out.

The accident went like this.
I got off of a exit off of I95 and was making a left onto a highway and I had a green light and apparently the other guy had one as well, he had a slight hill to come up to see the light and we meet in the middle of the intersection. I just remember seeing the silver "thing" coming for me and seeing my glasses flying off of my face and I remember seeing them land on my floor. I am just lucky that I was in a truck and it was lifted a little, I honestly believe that did help me thought the accident with getting seriously injured.

But today was a complete FML kind of day! Well here are the pictures that every one loves to look at. Some are cell phone pics and some are with the Canon.

This is how I ended up after the accident. Damn good thing that no one was in the lane that I ended up in.












If you can see it in the pics, I noticed that the center consul is on the driver seat and there is a bigger gap on the passenger side.

I wonder if your tranny builder hired the other guy to "take out" your truck so he wouldn't have to warranty the tranny anymore? Hmmmm............ J/K

 

 

That's def a FML! Glad to hear your ok and sad to see the damage to that nice truck.

 

Man that sucks but the main thing is that noone was really hurt.. Trucks are made everyday you can get another.. You can't replace yourself.
