Well.. I lost by KO in the first round. The tale of the tape was a bit off. He was 6'1" 274 pounds. I weighed in fully clothed at 269.
I didn't have a corner man, so I didn't get my ringside video.
I hit him with a quick 1-2 combo, then he bull rushed me into the cage. I noticed he wasn't breathing with his strikes, and he was throwing them hard and fast, so I covered up to basically rope-a-dope him. He caught me with one on the chin and I dropped. We'll see in the video, a couple of the spectators said that the ref called it to quickly, as I barely touched the ground and I was back up. We'll see for sure in the video what happened.
It's hard to do this when you had as many concussions as I did as a kid through high school

Damn man, losses always suk rotha, but the thing is you tried. I did BJJ for a bit, a stent in MT kick boxing. Never ringed any of it, but did great with anyone I spared or played with. It takes alot of dedication to pull through it, make it work. Most of all experience. Time time time. It teaches more so how to go on after getting dinked good or getting your bell rung. Been there.... It's like shooting pool in some ways,, repetition, knowing the shot rather then jumping on it to quick. None the less you got in there and did it, that is something to be proud of.. Lots of people talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. And any one that says they never been beat up has never been in a real fight.

Good Job Denton,(Now if I could convert you to conservatism..lol) I have never fought MMA, But have cornered a few teammates at the Casinos, and in TJ..I have however competed in Grapplers Quest for 7+ years and at 34 y/o I did horrible at my last event..But I got in there again as the spectators watched...Win Lose or Draw, You did what 99% of tough Guys will never do
