For me its a toss up between the GN and the Typhoon. I LOVE that year style on the buicks and the fact that it just screamed outta the factory is awesome. I have an 89 blazer that came out factory with a 4.3 and i ALMOST put a turbo on it instead of a v8.

I like the looks of the GN over the typhoon. Throw some skinnies on the front and fatties on the back and its Sahweet.

It seems like every GN or Turbo Regal I look at that isn't a show car/trailer queen is a rust bucket. I had no idea that these cars were just as susceptable to rust as the 60's era cars. Even the Ty's have rust on them. I'm really picky when it comes to rust having grown up in AZ all my life. It looks like it's going to come down to whatever I can find out here in the desert.

Yeah, I'm finding too many of those for sale. The ones I've found would be better off with a collector. Someone that will preserve it and wipe it down periodically with a diaper. I'd like one I could drive...a lot!

I say get the SVO if you can and do a V8 turbo swap into it if you get bored! It would be crazy fast, those cars weigh about 3100lbs fully loaded. Mustang parts are pretty plentiful and cheap.
