Nothing wrong with getting that car. I would get the camaro based on the power train and the looks but I agree that the visibility is rediculous!

If the Camaro wasn't so heavy and had a little more glass I'd be all over it, lol.

Still looking around, hoping to find a decent deal on a used 2010 Camaro.

Tremec isnt the best tranny out there, but all the big 3 uses it, 2010-11 Camaro SS. ZL1, Corvettes, Cts-v, g8 gxp, challenger srt8, mustang gt, 500

I have no complaints about mine. Also the blind spot issue isnt as big as people think it is with the Camaro, At first I thought they were terrible, but now Im use to it, you just get use to be alittle more carefull, I personally love the feel of the small windows, wouldnt change it at all, though Im still thinking about trading her in for a sierra rcsb

I was running 13.2 with my bonestock 2011 Camaro SS m6, first time to the track with a stick, spinning through 1st and halfway through second

I like the 2011 GT, and I hate Ford. I love Chevy, and you'd have to pay me to own a 5th-gen Camaro. I don't know where you've been looking at Vetted, but $27-32k will buy you a nice used Vette if you stay away from dealers and people who think cars don't lose value. Hit the Corvette forums and you'll find yourself a deal. I haven't seen a 2nd-gen CTS-V anywhere under $40k yet, a used GT500 is the bargain buy in that market right now. I will likely be getting a C6 Z06 when the time comes for me to pick up another fun car.

Used C6 Z06s can be found under $40k if you are dedicated enough. I've seen some sweet C6 LS2 cars in the mid-to-high 20s and a few nice LS3 cars right on top of the $30k mark. If I was going to buy a new 4-seat performance car under $35k, it would be a Mustang hands-down, FWIW.

A used Vette is very tempting, but my truck is a 2 seater so I would like to get a 2+2 car. Really it all depends on what I find used locally (I won't buy a car I can't see in person) and what I can get a new Mustang/Camaro for.
