Well the wet sanding is finished. All the dirt is gone Waiting till tom for the paint to cure more, as it is still setting up some, then one last fine cut, wax.. Now my brain is thinking doing a 4-6 drop while the bed is off, nice and easy to do a C notch.. Rest of the truck is getting a buff, and wax now.. Sunday sunday sunday will be when the new bed goes in, my betsi is all one color again..

your putting wax on it that early after painting it? When i worked at a body shop we told our customers to wait 6 weeks to allow the paint to fully cure... I was told waxing too early will seal the paint and keep it from hardening properly...

LOL yah while that is a myth, they do that for the ignorant people.. I kinda know my paint and body stuff. In most cases, even if you don't bake it dry, in about 3 days it is good to go. Other wise all it does is haze up. So you have to buff it out again, repeat the steps. Now that is a base coat clear app. When you start getting into 3-4 part jobs that is a diff story. Base clear, 3 days, if not you buff again..
