Default Burnout Contest!

Ok guys. There is this festival/church bazaar that is held in Bremond, Texas every year called the polish pickle run. It is a day where all of the Polocs crawl off the farms and get blitzed and have a good time. The whole town is envolved in the 5k run and the winner gets a jar of home made pickles. Sounds fun huh? No? There is BEER!! Anyways, there is a carshow and a Burnout contest and i am thinking of competing. I was also thinking of a flamethrower for the exhaust to look cool in the midst of the smoke. Anyone have any ideas or ways they have seen to make this flamethrower. I would rather make one than pay $200 for the kit from summit. BTW its in early June so i was thinking ahead of time in order to get things underway. Anyone ever been in a burnout contest? Any pointers? Thanks

Heres a link for the kit
http://www.eatmyflames.com/
Keep the truck in first once you get the tires spinning just keep it at about 5000 rpms otherwise the truck will upshift into second and kill the burnout if you dont keep it selected in 1st. If you dont have a transgo shift kit I hihgly recommend it cause the tranny will go ahead and shift into the second if you arent careful.

heres a lil secret

get some skinny *** tires. a size around around the 235/75-16 (or equivelant). this way you can spin em up some in 2nd gear run the tube from your window washers all the way back to your rear fender wells and shoot a 50/50 mix of bleach and water onto the back tire while your doing the burn out. the bleach water mix serves 2 purposes. "lube" to make the tires spin easier and last longer, and the bleach will produce TONS of white smoke!!! kick some ***!

Might want to look in to a line lock or something like that too. It'll let you use just your front brakes and not kill the rears.

Some of the guys on ls1tech have installed them; don't really know much about the kit or anything, just about what it does. I'm pretty sure someone on here has too, but it was called something else.

The stock tires will work fine, if you don't have time to get the line lock in just chock the front wheels. Trust me I know
