Burrito Run 2008 (Pics)
Every year, on the 1st day of the new year, rain or shine, a bunch of us have gone to the small town of Gilroy Ca. for a burrito. This tradition started long before I came along but has grown from a handful of bikes to the largest pack I have ever ridden with.
I waited on the side of the highway for the pack approaching from the north, and I joined my club as they rode past, 200+ bikes in front of us, 300+ bikes behind. I wish I had a picture of the pack altogether but it was all I could do to maintain file.
Imagine riding, 500+ bikes riding at 65mph down the highway, with only a few feet between riders front to rear, side to side. It was the largest pack I have ever ridden with in the almost 30 years I've been riding.
What an awsome day!
My Club colors, the blue patch with gold wings on the right.

I would of liked to see you guy's try that **** in Chicago today. Snowmobiles would have been better. Looks like a cool deal for those of you in warmer areas. YUM Burrito. Vince
Edit no pic's of the burrito?

Not sure what you call it, lol. I'd call it an old school 'rat rod'. Chopped with no roof and very simple controlls. Bagged. Big block I think and open headers. He started it for us, blew pretty blue/orange flames 3' at first.
Actually we (wife and I) ended up at an Asian Buffet......mmmm sushi!
It was warm today, well with the long johns, 4 layers and heavy leathers I was actually sweating. Rode home with my jacket in the saddlebags, vest only.

Damn thats a lot of Burrito's for someone to whip up. Hope you called ahead. Prolly a good thing you were on bikes for the ride back. Might have gotten smelly in the cab of a truck.

Really wish I had had the camera ready for the wife (she rode with me instead of taking her own bike), the view of all those bikes on the highway will stall with me for a long time.
There were people taking pics from the bridges, I'm sure I'll find one to post in a day or so.
