Default Camaro ZL1

I might be late to the game here but I noticed the ZL1 numbers were finally released 580HP and 556ft lbs of trq 6.2LSA with a 1.9L blower

Trannys offered are a Beefed up TR6060 and a beefed up 6L90

with 5 traction control settings

Mode 1 – Traction control set for wet conditions, with stability control on and Magnetic Ride Control set on Tour.

Mode 2 – Traction control set for dry conditions, with stability control on and Magnetic Ride Control set on Tour.

Mode 3 – Traction control set on Sport 1, with stability control on and Magnetic Ride Control set on Sport.

Mode 4 – Traction control set on Sport 2, with stability control off and Magnetic Ride Control set on Sport.

Mode 5 – Traction control set on Race, with stability control off and Magnetic Ride Control set on Track. Launch control tuned for VHT-prepped drag strips.

Wow, they weren't kidding about the larger oil capacity pan. Nearly 9 quarts in the pan...

thats what I was thinking! 8.9 qt

wonder why they didnt go with a dry sump oil system like the ZR1 vette

Cost, plain and simple Im sure. You would have to go with a different crank, then the different pan, tank, etc.

Definitely a nice ride.

damn didnt even notice that.. thats gonna be a pricey oil change

I like the beefy manual is offered.

Parker, I didn't know of the modes, but my bro told me of the power it was gonna make just a few days ago, u likely read the same info.

And yes, exactly what I was thinkin, expensive oil changes.

As if they're not expensive already.

Time for u to get a STi killer, a ZL1. Know anyone w/. a STi?!?
