It's been several months since I saw a news article but it was around 2% I think when I read it. I'm sure the government will weasel their way out of not paying a majority of them.

Its not as bad as you think we build toyota's at the nummi plant here in ca.Thousands of people here count on toyota for jobs.Infact GM pulled out of building cars there but toyota stayed saving us from a huge impact on our already spiraling down unemployment rate. The program probably helped toyota's decision to stay.
even if there is a plant here the profits from all the cars sold goes back to their country. so the guys working at that plant still have a job but no new jobs are going to be created, no new money will be put into our economy, and japan is probably laughing their *** off at us buying their cars to stimulate our economy.
i see absolutely no way as to how this helped our country. plus my family owning a repair shop thats 690,000 cars we will never have a chance to work on.
all this did was put false numbers into our econimy for a couple of months and give some nice people some new debts.
it was about as useful as 90% of the "bailout" money that was sent out

You might want to check the news on that Nummi plant. Toyota is abandoning it as well.

I would still like to hear how the current president is responsible for our economic down turn and fall of our great country if that should happen.
