cheap big tool box sugestions?

Default cheap big tool box sugestions?

wife is geting my a big tool box for my birthday

i want something big and cheap and not a complete piece of junk.

sams has a big stainless one for something like $600. seems like lowes has a big one that looks ok. maybe sears. not looking for anything nuts like a snap on but i dont want something that is going to fall apart either.

any sugestions?

any that I looked at, at sears, and other places "look nice" and would appear to hold up good if you dont load them up much, but looking at the trays they seam pretty darn flimsy, I was looking at going that route, but I think Ill save and invest in a good used snap on tool box

If you have ever heard of Cosco they usually have great deals...but i also agree with lowes also dont forget ebay and craigslist...they always have killer deals!

i have a corn well box and its pretty nice, if not snap on mac would be my 2nd choice.

all too much money. even used they want over $2000 for any of those.

here is the one at sams. it's $690 and has 4 positive reviews. hmm.

the Husky one from homedepot is nice. i have one and its been working out pretty well. also the little slide out work bench is great also. for the 750 bucks or 800 bucks its worth it IMHO. not to mention it sports a nice set of wheels lol. but seriously its probably best for money and its ball bearing drawers with retractors to help close the drawers

Yup, the ball bearing drawers are the feature I look for.

jim the one you posted is same one my old boss has, just it wasnt diamond plate..it came from sams..its held up great the last couple years, havent had any problems with it..for the size and money its hard to beat

The sams down here in KC has one thats bigger than the one you posted the picture of. its 900 i think. its a 2 piece and the base is the size of the mac or snap on tool boxes. its nice and thats probably what I am going to get when i get back home in va.

Husky is what i have, damn nice box set too.
wife bought them for me as an x-mass gift 5 years ago.
they still look like the day i opened the box.
