If the troubles have started this early, its time to bail........I know from experience. They'll do anything and everything to make your life hell until they get either you or the truck gone.

****** home owner association types are a bunch of ********* that don't want anyone else to do anything that they don't like.
They think that what OTHER people do makes THEM look bad.

Think about all of the angles, many of which have been pointed out already, and out wit the guy. Ask what specifically about a truck is unacceptable. Likely they don't want a truck because they think it's for rednecks.
As stated, size isn't a factor if they allow SUV's. If you see someone in a hummer that is not a family vehicle, What do they consider "heavily modified"? What set of modification limits do they have?
Take time to observe everyone else that lives there and see what exactly it is that you're doing that they aren't. If need be go around and politely ask everyone else if your truck bothers them. Odds are it is just that 1 ******* that wants to say he's in charge. If that is the case and everyone else is fine with it you can go around and have them sign a petition stating it is fine as long as you drive appropriately.
You can usually out wit jerk offs like this guy if you stay calm and use your head. They typically just make up ludacris claims that they can't back up and haven't thought out properly.

I say stay calm and don't make any rash decisions. Use your head and be the bigger person and you should be fine.

If everyone is fine with you and it is just that one guy writing you citations and what not, have a lawyer look over your agreement, have him check the signed petition, and then sue the man for harassment. Just be sure to keep the citations and have something in writing from the landlord stating your following the rules.

I failed to mention.
If you want the information in writing ask for it BEFORE you make statements that he can go in and change.
If you start showing him flaws he can easily just go change the paperwork before he gives it to you. After you get the paperwork ask others in the area if they received one too just to be sure it is legit and that their information matches.

Make friends with someone thats not being hassled for their vehicle and ask them to get a set of the Assholeciations By-Laws, or have a "prospective tenant" come in and get them.

You didn't sign a copy of these so-called laws when you signed a lease? If not, they can't legally hold you responsible.

Im just going to make nice and ask for a set of rules, see what they bring up and talk about. If it is brought up Ill ask why they want us to move our vehicles and what the limitations are, and then once I have it in writing I can take pictures of other peoples cars or go from there

Not true. Just because the owner did not give him a set of the rules does not mean he doesn't have to abide by them. As far as the HOA is concerned, the OWNER of the condo (the OP's landlord) is responsible for the behavior of anyone residing in his/her condo.

When you go to the meeting make sure you ask WHY trucks aren't allowed and try to contradict their reason behind it.
You should not have to park down the road at your own home just because you drive a truck. It's not like its a POS or eye sore.
