I live in a province full of retard rig trash that think they make big money and finance to the hilt.... so the lesser paid trash buys all the miled out diesel junk at exorbitant prices. Its all lifted diesel to be cool here...... 700 HP and 1000 lb ft they will tell you after they run a 15.5 in the quarter.... uh huh. Longevity is a joke.... we aren't running carbed gas junk anymore that is toast at 100000 miles. If you need to pull constantly... buy a diesel. Otherwise.... whatever.

People seemingly forget its the exact same truck around the Duramax and it still wears out the same way any other does.

First and foremost they don't make them in 4wd, and I have to have a bed. I haul **** all the time for hunting and outdoors stuff, a van wont work well for that. Id rather not throw a bleeding animal inside my vehicle. I like just taking a hose to the bed.

Im waiting til the summer to make a decision one way or the other. Got a lot of other things I want to take care of first then Ill decide.

Diesel truck prices are high because all the hipsters have come to believe being "country" is cool, so now there all running out and buying plaid shirts and diesel trucks, sucks now but itll be cool in a couple years when the trend changes and they all sell there diesel trucks for Toyota prius's

I found a great deal on my 05' crew cab long bed 4x4 duramax. Not fully loaded. But has a lot of good options. Had 138k when I bought it at the dealership. Paid 15k for it. Keep ur eyes open. And you'll find a pretty good deal out there. But I'm with ya. People think they're made of gold. I bought mine to pull the drag truck and my trail truck. Gasser just didn't have the *****. Love how my duramax pulls. 2nd duramax I've owned and been happy with both of them.
