I dont know why it died... i let it us a snorkel and it still didnt want to go anywhere....
Maybe it just wanted to go see what was on bottom.......
Good thing it had them 26" Floaties on.. it could have been bad.

We had a 400 back in the day, chain drive sucked, the front never stayed tight and would flop around....the 4 stroke 400 Sportsman we have now is a lot nicer except the rear cv joints are VERY noisy because the dumb@$$'es at Polaris think they can run cv joints at 45 degree angles and expect them to last....they split the cv boots open from being bent so sharp at like only 1000 miles.

On to cosmetics....... Paint options
1. Stock boring dark green with new factory decals
2. Something bright like todays wheelers....red, yellow, etc
3. Flat black with some custom red decals
4. Gloss black with factory decals
I'm leaning toward an all flat black wheeler.....I want it in the air, like maybe something like in the pic below

Opinions on paint are appreciated

Thats Waylans 4-wheeler you posted a pics of...it would be a pretty penny to get it to compare to that one. Also you tire pic looks like an aggressive trail tire(wimp). 400 Motors are capable of producing 70-80HP with the right mods! I had one back in the day but my daddy gave it up in a lil deal.
